Global Genes Project

The Global Genes Project is a grassroots project designed to raise rare disease awareness, and fund research to cure rare diseases.

History

Started as an awareness project of the Children's Rare Disease Network in 2009, the Global Genes Project gained widespread recognition for it's involvement in Rare Disease Day.[1] [2]

The organization was founded by Nicole Boice in 2008.
